    Itinerary Details

    DAY 1: BEIJING - QUINTESSENTIAL BEIJING

    Pick up at the hotel (8:30am to 9am)

    Ti'an'anmen Square - stroll around this world’s largest public square for 30mins

    Forbidden City - Ancient magnificent Imperial Palaces in the Ming & Qing Dynasty  (1.5 to 2 hours)

    Lunch in a local Chinese restaurant

    Hutongs - (old residential area) where tour transportation changes into rickshaws. The 30 minute rickshaw tour stops at a local family where travelers can get insight into the home settings, culture, and life of traditional Beijingers.

    Houhai Lake - is the largest of the three lakes, along with Qianhai and Xihai that comprise Shichahai in central Beijing. Since the early 2000s, the hutong neighborhood around Houhai has become known for its nightlife as many residences along the lake shore have been converted into restaurants, bars, and cafes. The area is especially popular with foreign tourists visiting Beijing and is also often visited by the expatriate community and the younger generations of locals.

    Lama Temple - the largest and most well-preserved Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Beijing.

     

    DAY 2: BEIJING - THE GREAT WALL

    Pick up at the hotel (8:30am to 9am)

    Mutianyu Great Wall - the most perfect famous and ideal section of the Great Wall. Take the cable car or chair lift up the wall and spend 1- to2 hours hiking up and down from one section to another, seeing the Watch Towers and marveling at the construction and beauty of the Great Wall.

    798 Art District  a fervor of contemporary art, creativity, and connoisseurs’ paradise with many artists commanding high fees on the international market for their unique masterpieces.  Artists from around the world display their works here. Even if you aren't an art lover, you will agree it is definitely worth a look!

     

    DAY 3: BEIJING - QUINTESSENTIAL BEIJING

    Jingshan Park - Here we climb to the top pavilion to get a fabulous panoramic view of city Beijing

    Temple of Heaven - the largest Imperial place of worship from ancient times. This special place becomes a park where the local communities utilize this beautiful and enormous space for social activities such as singing, dancing, and Taiji practice.

    Pearl Market - Here you can find those fun knock-off brand bags, shoes, and watches as well as pearls.  There is a little bit of everything here, and you will surely find some great souvenirs to bring home to family and friends.

    Summer Palace - a summer resort for Imperial Family Members considered the best preserved Imperial Park.

     

    DAY 4: BEIJING/XI'AN - ANCIENT TRADITIONS

    Pick up at the hotel & transfer to the airport for an earlier flight from Beijing to Xi'an (for the earlier flight departures at about 7:30am to 8:00am, flight time for about 2 hours). Be picked up by the local guide in Xi'an in the airport.

    Hangyang Tombs Museum - is the historical site designated for state protection. This mausoleum which combines modern technology, ancient civilization, historical culture and garden scenery, is built at the base of the joint tomb of Emperor Jindi and his Empress. It is the largest museum in China.

    City Wall-the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

    Drum Tower & Bell Tower - The Drum Tower was built in 1380 during the early Ming Dynasty, and got its name from the huge drum located within the building. In contrast to the Bell Tower, where bell was stricken at dawn, drum was beat at sunset to indicate the end of the day.

    Muslim Street-Located within the shadow of the Drum Tower, Humin Jie is a 500-metre street lined with restaurants whose proprietors are almost exclusively Chinese Muslims.

     

    DAY 5: XI'AN - ANCIENT WARRIORS AND ANCIENT TRADITIONS

    Terra-cotta Warriors - One of the most significant archaeological finds in the world, this 16,300-square-meter excavation reveals more than 7,000 life-size terracotta figures of warriors and horses arranged in battle formations.

    Lunch in a local Chinese restaurant.

    Big Goose Pagoda - is a Buddhist pagoda built in 652 AD during the Tang Dynasty and originally had five stories. The original construction of rammed earth with a stone exterior façade eventually collapsed five decades later to be rebuilt by Empress Wu Zetian in 704AD who added five more stories. A massive earthquake in 1556 heavily damaged the pagoda and reduced it by three stories, to its current height of seven stories.

     

    DAY 6: XI’AN/GUILIN/YANGSHUO – WEST STREET

    Morning flight from Xi’an to Guilin. Be picked up at the Guilin airport. After about 1 hour drive to Yangshuo. Check into your hotel. Then walk around the famous Western Street and may hiking the mountain inside the Yangshuo park to get a lovely view of the Yangshuo town.

     

    DAY 7: YANGSHUO – BICYCLE TOUR AROUND YANGSHUO, MOON HILL, BAMBOO RAFT, LIGHT SHOW

    After breakfast, we will ride a bike to go around the countryside. You will through the beautiful and quiet nice path to see rice fields, farmer’s working, Karst mountain surrounding. Visit the small village on the way. It will spend 2.5 hours for riding bike and 1.5 hours to hiking up and down the Moon Hill if you interest to climb it.

    Afternoon, drive from Yangshuo to the Dragon Bridge. Take a Bamboo Raft on Yulong River around 2 hours relax trip. The driver and the guide will meet you at the end of the raft trip then drive you to Yangshuo. You can visit the Ancient house on the way if you are interest. See Light show at night. Stay overnight in Yangshuo.

     

    DAY 8: YANGSHUO/GUILIN/SHANGHAI – SILVER CAVE, BAMBOO BOAT ON LI RIVER 

    After you finish your breakfast, the tour guide will meet you at your hotel then visit the Sliver cave (This is the biggest one and the most beautiful karst cave in this area), around 1 hours hiking inside the cave. You will enjoy the beautiful stalactites. It’s Fantastic. After the cave tour, drive to Yangdi,, you can take a motorized Bamboo Rafting from Yangti to Xingping around 1.5 hours boat tour on Li River, this part of the Li river is regard the best view of the Li river. Once you arrive in Xingping old town, you can have lunch there. After lunch, you may like to walk around in this old town. Then drive back to Guilin and departure for the late afternoon or evening flight from Guilin to Shanghai. Be picked up at the Shanghai airport & transfer to the Shanghai hotel.

     

    DAY 9: SHANGHAI – JADE BUDDHA TEMLE, OLD TOWN AREA, XINTIANDI, DONGTAI ROAD ANTIQUE MARKET AND LOCAL FLOWER & BIRD MARKET EXPERIENCE, THE BUND AREA, FERRY EXPERIENCE, LUJIAZUI FINANCE AND TRADE ZONE

    Jade Buddha Temple - famous for two vivid Jade Buddha statues and feed the beautiful Koi fish there.

    Old Town area - visiting famous Yu Yuan Garden and Bazaar - Yu Yuan Garden is the largest and best known of the historic gardens of Shanghai (Built in 1559). The bazaar - is a market with lots of small shops / vendors selling souvenirs, hand-made crafts, folk crafts, and packed snacks.

    Xintiandi - is composed of an area of restored traditional "stone gate" (Shikumen) houses on narrow alleys, a modern shopping mall with a cinema complex, and some adjoining houses which now serve as book stores, cafes and restaurants. Most of the cafes and restaurants feature both indoor and outdoor seating. A Stone Gate House Museum there is the place for you to pay a visit to the inside of a house to experience the life in the "Stone Gate" house.

    Dongtai Road Antique market and Local Flower & Bird Market Experience

    The Bund area - is one of the top ten Shanghai attractions. Just like a gallery of international architectures - historic European style buildings located on the Bund. It's the showcase of the city's colonial past and its transformation in the new year. Known as “the Wall Street in the Far East" in the colonial period. We will visit the original HSBC bank and the Peace hotel including the history gallery in the hotel.

    Ferry Experience - crossing through Huangpu river by a local ferry ride.

    Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone - is the place not only being the finance and trade center of Shanghai, even China, but also full of the high skyscrapers.

     

    DAY 10: SHANGHAI - LOACL PARK IN THE FORMER FRENCH CONCESSION AREA, OLD ALLEY/LANE IN FORMER FRENCH CONCESSION AREA, LITTLE WHITE HOUSE, WATER VILLAGE (ZHUJIAJIAO)
    Local Park in the Former French Concession Area - have an idea of the morning activities of the Shanghai locals, experience the life style and be a local here:)

    Old Alley / Lane in Former French Concession Area - walking along the old alley / lane to explore the local life in the old house / lane. Best way to get away the hustling urban life and relax in that area

    Little White House - is a spectacular mansion which was one of the most opulent houses in former French Concession. It was home to a high-ranking official of the French Municipality at that time.Now is Shanghai Arts and Crafts Museum

    Water Village (Zhujiajiao) -  is crisscrossed by rivers and canals, with 9 long streets running along the rivers and thousand of buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture flanking both sides.Boat ride there is included.
