Early morning start the tour to visit Wuzhen Water Town in Zhejiang Province, one of most famous water town from Hangzhou, it's also listed on UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage. Its simple life style and folk customs have been well preserved. For this tour, you will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel from Shanghai. The entrance ticket, private transport and English speaking guide are all included. Please cover the lunch by your own expense.
Visit Wuzhen Water Town - a famous town with thousands of years of history, one of the six great ancient towns in the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River;
Stroll through the ancient bridges and lanes and picture the original style of the architectures;
Get the chance to taste local cuisine and snacks;
Pick up at the hotel lobby of center city hotel at 8:00am in Shanghai then take 2-2.5 hour driving to Wuzhen.
On the way to Wuzhen, your experienced tour guide will give your some brief introduction about the village so you can better know the background and history behind in Wuzhen.
Wuzhen Water Town, one of the most famous ancient water towns in China, has a history of more than 1,000 years. Embraced by the Beijing–Hangzhou Grand Canal, canals crisscross the two town areas.
Ancient residential houses, workshops and stores stand on the banks of the East Area canals, and attractions include folk performances. The West Area has been restored for antique-style accommodation, but authentic ancient elements are also easily found.
This time we will lead you to East Gate of Wuzhen, visit the interesting lanes and bridges, to picture the original style of the architectures, stroll through various types of the bridges, to taste the local favor of the cuisine, etc.
Transfer back to your hotel in the late afternoon.

The quoted price is for an 8-hour tour per day. If you use more than 6 hours or less than 8 hours per day it will still be considered a full day.
Additional hours are billed at 50CNY to 100CNY for the guide and 50CNY to 100CNY for the driver.
Please note that the itinerary is flexible and we can adjust it according to your personal interests, the weather or any unexpected conditions.
For the lunch, we will take you to the authentic Chinese local restaurant catering for the locals with great dishes. Please cover the lunch by your own cost.
