Enjoy a family-friendly half-day cooking class in the morning, you will be like a local, shopping in a supermarket or a local market for the food preparing, have an experience to enjoy the food such as dumplings as well as some local dishes cooked by yourself. Afternoon go to explore the city sights, you can choose 2 city attractions, such as City Wall, Big Goose Pagoda, etc. All the entrance tickets to the sights, lunch and private English speaking tour guide & transportation are inclusive in this 8 hours full day tour!
Visit local Food Market where you will see the fresh ingredients, such as vegetables and fresh meat;
Join the local family and learn to make dumplings with them, you will have an interesting conversation with them to know thir life;

Morning
Xi'an downtown area hotel pick up at 9:00am or 9:30am
Go to local Food Market to explore how Chinese people shopping fresh vegetables, food and meat, then go to ordinary local family to see how their daily life goes. Upon arrival to the local family home, you will start practice your own dumpling meal plus some local dishes (such as scrambled egg with tomato; Sauté soy sauce cabbage.... ) follow hostess or host teaching instruction.
During this fun local family visit, you also have opportunity to speak their kids in English, Chinese or even by body language! This is surely a great local experience to know more about today Chinese family burden, most Chinese family economy condition and kids education.
Lunch will be the dumplings and dishes you and hostess cooked!
Afternoon
After experience lunch, you may will decide 2 city attractions from below 8 options for afternoon tour:

The quoted price is for an 8-hour tour per day. If you use more than 6 hours or less than 8 hours per day it will still be considered a full day.
Additional hours are billed at 50CNY to 100CNY for the guide and 50CNY to 100CNY for the driver.
Pls note that the itinerary is flexible and we can adjust it according to your personal interests, the weather or any unexpected conditions.
For the lunch, you will have the local lunch at the family, try the dumplings and dishes you and hostess cooked.
We conduct only private tour but not group tour and won’t mix you with others.
Our tours are complete non-forced shopping tour and we won’t take you to any factories without request to waste your valuable time.
